Overview
Our client is seeking a talented
Senior Interior Designer/Space Planner
to support Class A office and hospitality design projects. This role will partner directly with clients to understand their needs, develop functional and creative space plans, and produce construction documentation for pricing, permitting, and build-out.
The ideal candidate brings strong technical skills, design sensibility, and the ability to collaborate with internal teams and outside vendors.
Key Responsibilities
Meet with prospective and existing clients to gather project requirements and translate them into effective space plans
Develop conceptual and detailed space layouts that align with client goals and building standards
Prepare pricing drawings for use by the construction team in developing project estimates
Produce final construction and permitting sets, including plans, details, and specifications
Assist clients with selection of finishes, artwork, signage, and furniture, fixtures, and equipment (FFE)
Coordinate with contractors, vendors, and internal departments throughout planning and construction phases
Support design efforts for commercial office and hospitality environments from concept through completion
Requirements & Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in Interior Design or related field
Minimum of 5 years’ experience in commercial interiors and tenant development
Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a client-focused approach
Proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD
Solid understanding of commercial building codes and accessibility standards
Ability to work onsite regularly as an essential function of the role
Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
