This is a 12-month, full-time (40 hours/week), hybrid contract role located in Cupertino, CA.
Summary This role supports end-to-end video ingest and post-production workflows while serving as a subject matter expert for video-related digital asset management (DAM) systems. The position partners closely with cross‑functional teams to evolve video workflows, expand DAM capabilities, and support both final content delivery and work‑in‑progress pipelines.

Familiar with industry‑standard video formats, workflows, systems, and concepts
Experience working with network storage systems (SAN, NFS, SMB), DAM, and CMS platforms
Strong understanding of metadata usage and application
Familiarity with emerging technologies and file types in video production and post‑production
Exceptional organizational, prioritization, and time‑management skills
Adept at learning and applying new tools
Creative problem‑solver who addresses challenges at their core
Comfortable working independently and collaboratively across teams
Strong written and verbal communication skills with exceptional attention to detail
Experienced in building trust and productive relationships in large, matrixed organizations
Self‑motivated, flexible, and comfortable navigating rapid change in a fast‑paced environment
Able to manage high‑level responsibilities with strong accountability for outcomes
Job Description In this role, you will manage and support video ingest, processing, and post‑production workflows while ensuring high standards across all media operations. You will partner with producers, camera teams, post‑production staff, and DAM stakeholders to coordinate smooth ingest processes, maintain file organization, and evolve best practices.
Responsibilities include organizing and archiving media assets, ingesting and transcoding footage, generating proxy files, fulfilling compression and delivery requests, and ensuring consistency across storage systems and collaboration platforms. You will also act as the subject‑matter expert for video‑specific DAM features, collaborating with product managers and stakeholders to define, test, and refine system enhancements. This role may also support on‑set activities for regional shoots as needed.
Education and Experience
Bachelor's degree or equivalent industry experience required
Background in video production, post‑production, media operations, or digital asset management
Additional Requirements This opportunity is located in Cupertino, CA and requires hybrid, in‑office work as needed.
The pay for this W‑2 position is up to $100.00 per hour
This position may be eligible for benefits such as PTO, health and dental insurance, and/or 401(k) benefits upon meeting certain length of service and hours requirements.
