
Campus Brand Ambassador — Marketing & Student Outreach

The Role
We're looking for a well-connected university student who is comfortable on camera to become Quantum's brand voice on campus. You'll create engaging video content about our AI programs, build awareness through student organizations and campus events, and connect prospective students with our admissions process. This is a 90-day contract engagement structured as contract-to-hire, with the opportunity to convert into a full-time position based on performance.
What You'll Do Content Creation
Create short-form video content (Reels, TikToks, YouTube Shorts) highlighting Quantum's programs, AI career paths, and student success stories
Produce longer-form content including podcast segments, program walkthroughs, and interviews with instructors or students
Maintain a consistent posting cadence across Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, and YouTube
Present Quantum's programs to student organizations, tech clubs, and career services offices
Organize or participate in campus events such as info sessions, workshops, or pop-up activations
Build relationships with student leaders to create ongoing awareness and referral opportunities
Student Referrals
Connect prospective students with Quantum's admissions process through your unique referral link
Follow up with interested students to answer questions and support their enrollment journey
Share periodic updates on outreach activity and student interest
Quantum will provide brand guidelines, marketing assets, and a dedicated referral tracking link to support your efforts.
Compensation During the 90-Day Contract:
Base: $833/month (~$25–$35/hr based on 6–8 hours/week), paid monthly for the 90‑day engagement
Enrollment Bonus: $500 for each student who enrolls through your referral (no limit on bonuses)
Performance Bonus: Additional $1,000 if 15+ students enroll during the engagement
Contract‑to‑Hire — Full‑Time Opportunity: This engagement is structured as contract‑to‑hire. Ambassadors who demonstrate strong performance will be considered for a full‑time role (~40 hours/week) at $3,500–$5,000/month with expanded responsibilities including multi‑campus strategy, full media management, and ambassador team leadership. Enrollment bonuses continue at $500 per student.
Conversion to a full‑time role is based on performance and business needs, and is not guaranteed.
This is an independent contractor position during the 90‑day contract period. You will receive a 1099‑NEC and are responsible for applicable self‑employment taxes.
Qualifications Required:
Currently enrolled at a Washington, D.C. metropolitan area university (GMU, NOVA, VCU, GW, Howard, UMD, or similar)
Active involvement in at least one student organization
Comfortable creating video content and speaking on camera
Strong interpersonal skills with an established campus network
Self‑motivated with the ability to manage your own schedule and deliverables
Authorized to work in the United States
Preferred:
Studying AI, computer science, engineering, business, communications, or marketing
Experience organizing campus events or leading student activities
Basic video editing skills (CapCut, Canva, or similar)
Interest in or knowledge of artificial intelligence and emerging technology
