POSITION SUMMARY The Engagement Specialist supports the association’s overall marketing, communications, and engagement efforts by executing strategic marketing plans, designing creative assets, and producing impactful campaigns. This role plays a key part in strengthening the brand, elevating consumer awareness, and enhancing member engagement through dynamic graphic design, social media management, and promotional initiatives. The Engagement Specialist will work closely with the Member & Community Engagement Manager to support consumer-focused campaigns, member events, community initiatives, and association-wide communications.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Develop product, brand, and program marketing strategy aligned with association goals.

Design graphics, digital assets, and creative content to support campaigns, events, and promotional initiatives.

Plan, develop, and execute consumer-facing campaigns that reinforce advocacy efforts and promote homeownership.

Create and coordinate marketing materials and ensure alignment between marketing, public relations, and community engagement activities.

Assist in preparing long-term and short-term marketing plans and strategies.

Create and execute digital marketing campaigns across multiple platforms.

Support member events and activities through promotional graphics, digital ads, signage, and recap highlights.

Develop social media content, including graphics, videos, stories, and reels, to increase engagement, traffic, and member/consumer awareness.

Manage the social media content calendar and write social media posts across all platforms.

Conduct market research and competitor analysis to inform strategy and strengthen campaign performance.

Update website content, event pages, and campaign landing pages.

Develop, write, and edit promotional brochures, email newsletters, event materials, and marketing collateral.

Assist with tracking and reporting on campaign performance and engagement metrics.

QUALIFICATIONS

2+ years of business-to-business marketing experience.

Prior experience in advertising, product marketing, graphic design, and project management.

Strong ability to create compelling content for both consumer-facing and member-focused campaigns.

Experience in planning and coordinating special events.

Proficient in digital and traditional marketing tools: Salesforce, email marketing platforms, Google Ads preferred.

Advanced proficiency in Canva for creating marketing and branded materials.

Experience with Adobe Creative Suite required (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, etc.).

Skilled in social media management and content creation (graphics, short-form video, storytelling).

Self-motivated, resourceful team player with a positive, solutions-oriented attitude.

Excellent writing and communication skills with attention to detail.

Experience in REALTOR® associations or trade groups preferred.

WORK ENVIRONMENT AND PHYSICAL DEMANDS

Ability to walk, stand, and sit for long periods of time.

Must be able to lift and carry up to 20 pounds.

Ability to remain attentive for extended periods.

Position may require bending, kneeling, leaning, and walking.

Ability to communicate clearly and effectively.

Visual and auditory capacity to respond quickly to urgent situations.

Ability to view and enter data for long periods of time.
