
As an Account Manager, you will manage and grow a portfolio of small to mid‑tier customers, leveraging a digitally enabled selling process against a preset portfolio of solutions. You’ll be responsible for nurturing accounts, converting new leads, and leveraging digital tools to enhance the customer journey. The ideal candidate is someone looking to leverage their early sales career, or learn how to be an effective sales professional. This hybrid role is based in our Portland, Oregon office, with expectations of being on‑site three days per week, and limited travel (~20%) for customer visits, tradeshows, and internal meetings.
Key Responsibilities Account Management & Growth
Manage a portfolio of small and mid‑sized customers in the performance, intimates, and outerwear categories
Drive product adoption by understanding customer requirements and matching them with the most relevant bonding solutions
Support the full customer lifecycle—from sampling and onboarding to order management and reorders
Maintain strong customer relationships via regular calls, virtual meetings, and digital communication tools
Lead Qualification & Conversion
Own the lead qualification process: assess inbound inquiries, evaluate fit, and convert qualified leads into long‑term customers
Collaborate with marketing to ensure effective handoff and follow‑up on campaign‑generated leads
Use CRM systems to manage pipeline activity and provide visibility into lead status and conversion metrics
Digital Engagement & Tools
Leverage digital sales tools (CRM, digital sample platforms, virtual showrooms) to improve outreach, tracking, and personalization
Guide customers using online catalogs, technical documentation, and self‑service tools
Utilize customer data to inform outreach strategies, identify growth opportunities, and tailor solution offerings
Qualifications
Bachelor's or Master’s degree or equivalent experience in a related field
At least 2-5 years' of sales experience or a minimum of 3 years in a related field (product development, product line management, material development)
Apparel industry experience required, or applicable education
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to multi‑task, organize, and prioritize work
