Job Summary The Account Coordinator supports the Sales team by assisting with client communication, merchandise projects, and creative concept development. This role blends sales support, project coordination, and creative thinking—helping translate client goals into thoughtful merchandise ideas. It is designed as a growth position for someone who is both organized and creatively driven, with a clear path to becoming a Sales Representative.
Key Responsibilities
Client Support & Communication
Assist Sales Reps with client communications, follow-ups, and meeting preparation
Participate in client meetings alongside senior team members to learn sales and account management best practices
Help gather client requirements including branding, timelines, and budget details
Maintain professional, timely communication with clients under guidance
Project Coordination
Support the management of merchandise projects from kickoff through delivery
Track project timelines, approvals, and next steps to ensure deadlines are met
Coordinate internally with design, production, and operations teams
Communicate updates and changes clearly to internal stakeholders
Product & Sales Support
Assist in researching and recommending merchandise options based on client needs
Help prepare visually compelling presentations, product decks, and mockups that communicate creative concepts clearly
Review order details for accuracy (quantities, timelines, artwork status) before production
Learn product offerings, decoration methods, and pricing structures
Creative Concepting & Merch Curation
Assist in brainstorming merchandise concepts that align with a client’s brand, audience, and use case
Help curate product assortments for pitches, proposals, and presentations
Support the development of creative directions for drops, campaigns, and events
Collaborate with design and production teams to ensure creative ideas are feasible and on-brand
Stay informed on trends in merchandise, materials, decoration techniques, and packaging
Account & Administrative Support
Track project progress and flag potential issues early
Follow up on approvals, artwork submissions, and outstanding client information
Help maintain organized records of client projects and communications
Support post-delivery follow-ups and client satisfaction check-ins
Skills & Qualifications
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Highly organized with strong attention to detail
Ability to juggle multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
Interest in sales, account management, or merchandising
Comfortable working with clients and internal teams
Proactive, coachable, and eager to learn
Prior experience in sales support, customer service, or project coordination is a plus
Growth Path This role is designed to develop into a Sales Representative position. Account Coordinators who demonstrate strong communication, organization, client readiness, and product knowledge will be considered for promotion into full account ownership.
