Position Description: We are seeking a highly motivated, energetic Inside Sales Specialist to join our growing team. This role is well suited for an individual who enjoys solving real-world industrial challenges, building long-term customer relationships, and developing a deep understanding of technical products and applications. The successful candidate will work closely with customers to translate application requirements into effective equipment solutions. While prior sales experience is not required, a strong technical foundation, mechanical aptitude, or relevant industry experience is highly preferred and will accelerate success in this role.
Key Responsibilities: Quoting & Sales Support
Prepare accurate quotes for new equipment based on customer specifications, engineering data, and cost estimates.
Provide customers with suggestions, optional features, alternatives, and guidance to ensure they receive the most suitable solution.
Maintain organized digital records of quotes, orders, and parts lists.
Respond promptly (on average
Build positive relationships with customers and vendors.
Follow up consistently on open quotes to drive conversion and ensure customer satisfaction.
Update internal tools with new quotes, changes, follow-ups, and outcomes to maintain an accurate record of sales activity.
Support continuous improvement of processes and documentation.
Technical Assistance
Size and select appropriate equipment to meet performance and application requirements.
Provide support related to blower performance, sizing, and parts compatibility.
Interpret technical drawings, manuals, and specifications as needed.
Clarify customer needs to ensure accurate understanding and proper equipment selection.
Documentation & Knowledge Management
Create, maintain, and improve standard quotation templates, technical notes, and application guidelines.
Develop and update internal and customer-facing technical documentation.
Capture lessons learned from completed projects to improve quoting accuracy and application support.
Order Transition & Handoffs
Support clean handoff from sales to production.
Assist with order clarifications, revisions, and scope changes.
Ensure alignment between quoted scope and customer expectations.
Additional Responsibilities
Assist with other sales-related activities as assigned.
Perform other tasks as required.
Qualifications: Required:
Technical or mechanical aptitude, demonstrated through education, training, or hands‑on experience.
Strong communication skills with the ability to translate technical concepts into customer‑focused solutions.
Confidence engaging with customers via phone, email or in‑person.
High energy, strong work ethic, and self‑motivated attitude.
Organized, detail‑oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities.
Experience with Microsoft Office suite.
Ability to interpret spreadsheets, pricing tables, and technical data.
Willingness to travel as needed.
Helpful Experience:
Bachelor’s Degree.
Familiarity with CRM software.
Foundational knowledge of Industrial Manufacturing environments, Positive Displacement (PD) blowers and/or pneumatic conveying systems.
Experience or education in manufacturing, engineering or industrial operations.
