The Opportunity We’re looking for a high-performing

Account Executive

who thrives in fast-moving environments and knows how to build meaningful relationships that convert into long-term partnerships.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys strategy, autonomy, and the thrill of closing deals — especially in an emerging, regulated, and high-growth sector like cannabis.

Generate and manage a strong pipeline of qualified merchant opportunities.

Conduct outbound sales prospecting, networking, and relationship development with dispensaries, franchise groups, and industry partners.

Lead full-cycle sales processes, including discovery, presentations, proposals, negotiation, and close.

Partner with Operations, Underwriting, and Support teams to ensure a smooth onboarding transition and merchant activation.

Maintain CRM discipline including notes, forecasting, follow-up cadence, and pipeline accuracy.

Represent

SALT

at key cannabis trade shows, conferences, and activation events as needed.

How Performance Will Be Measured

Number of new merchant activations

Transaction volume growth generated from new accounts

Portfolio retention and onboarding success in the first 90 days

Revenue contribution and quota achievement

Pipeline and CRM accuracy

Compliance and documentation accuracy

You’ll be a great fit if you are:

Able to move quickly, adapt, and iterate as the business scales.

Previous experience as an Account Executive within cannabis or merchant services.

Bonus points if you have experience in

FinTech, merchant services, payment processing, or cannabis.
