Role Description This is a full‑time, on‑site role for a Trainee Account Executive based in Nashville, TN. The Trainee Account Executive will engage in daily tasks including prospecting potential clients, building and maintaining relationships, and ensuring customer satisfaction. Responsibilities include managing transportation logistics, negotiating pricing, and coordinating with carriers to ensure efficient and timely delivery. This role involves both internal collaboration and external client communications to meet and exceed business objectives.
Qualifications
Strong communication and interpersonal skills for relationship building and effective client engagement
Sales skills including negotiation, persuasion, and closing techniques
Organizational and time‑management skills to handle multiple tasks and prioritize responsibilities
Basic knowledge of transportation, logistics, or supply chain (preferred but not required)
Ability to adapt quickly, solve problems, and thrive in a fast‑paced environment
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Communications, or a related field (preferred)
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and basic familiarity with CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce) is a plus
High level of motivation, energy, and a drive for achieving results
