THE PROJECT Northwestern University and Legends announced a multi‑year partnership that will integrate data and analytics, marketing, premium seating, and general ticket sales initiatives into a single revenue‑driven approach to support the New Ryan Field project. New Ryan Field will provide Northwestern donors, alumni, Wildcat fans and local Chicago businesses the most premier facility in college football.

In addition to leading the New Ryan Field project, Legends will also be responsible for managing data intelligence, marketing and ticket sales for Northwestern Athletics Football at Martin Stadium and Men’s and Women’s Basketball programs.

Then join Legends as a Ticket Sales Rep with our Northwestern University project.

The Ticket Sales Rep role is primarily responsible for driving revenue and hitting sales goals around the season, group, and premium ticket packages for Northwestern Athletics.

This person should be a self‑motivated and positive professional. The Ticket Sales Rep will work under the direction and guidance of the Manager, Ticket Sales.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Offer a full menu of seating opportunities for Northwestern Football, Men’s Basketball, and all other ticketed sports.

Coordinate and execute sales calls on all potential customers through prospecting, cold calling, and referrals from current customers.

Effectively use Salesforce CRM to accurately record all client and prospect interactions.

Participate and contribute in weekly sales meetings and training sessions.

Work in conjunction with Northwestern Athletic Department and Ticketing staff to promote and generate sales on all events while providing a great fan experience.

Assist with any administrative ticket functions.

Assist with any special projects or duties as assigned by the Manager, Ticket Sales.

Set and conduct in‑arena and out‑of‑office appointments.

Be willing to work non‑traditional hours, weekends, events and game days.

Accountable for certain levels of activity (calls made/appointments set) and goals.

Qualifications

Excellent professional verbal and written communication skills.

Maintain a professional image and positive attitude.

Serve as a main point of contact for general athletic ticket inquiries that come in through inbound phone calls, email, and social media.

Set and conduct in‑stadium, arena and out‑of‑office sales appointments.

Effectively use Salesforce CRM to maintain accurate records of all client and prospect interactions.

Reach and exceed individual and team sales revenue goals.

Assist with managing and stewarding existing season ticket members.

Prospect and cultivate new sales leads through creative lead generation methods, and follow up on leads provided by partner organization.

Learn and master software programs including Salesforce CRM and Ticketing platform.

Handle a heavy volume of outbound and inbound phone calls and emails.

Excellent time management and organizational skills.

Optimistic team‑first attitude and a competitive desire to be the best.

Work in a team‑oriented environment and effectively influence and communicate with C‑level clients.

Proficient in Microsoft Office, with a focus on Word, Excel and PowerPoint.

Strong work ethic and a desire to build a career in professional sports.

Education / Experience

Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent.

1‑2 years sales experience preferred.

Compensation Competitive pay ($19.23 - $20.00) plus commission opportunities and a generous benefits package that includes medical, dental, vision, life and disability insurance, paid vacation, and 401(k) plan.

Working Conditions Location: On Site – Northwestern.
