Job Description

Successfully manage and execute independent Pre‑Sales activities to priority business group(s) and accommodating non‑primary teams where applicable

Become familiar in all critical support areas bound by SLA coverage, working as a cross‑functional business partner being able to accommodate various account‑based non‑specialty requests for multiple business verticals

Engage with pilot program opportunities where/when applicable to evangelize the Pre‑Sales Enablement team offerings to unsupported teams

Become an SME in specific Pre‑Sales Enablement team offering(s) and NielsenIQ product/solution(s)

Serve as an expert on internal sales processes and CRM utilization to guide sellers on best practices and ensure adherence. Work to become proficient in all RMS services (Discover, Byzzer, Data Analysis) and stay up‑to‑date on best practices using the tools effectively

Effectively manage day‑to‑day tasks to ensure opportunities progress to close won quickly as possible through efficient time management and prioritization and process improvement or development; including assisting with pitches, pricing, proposals and contract and coordinating with cross functional team members as applicable to ensure a stellar customer experience (includes Post‑Sales, Marketing, Product Marketing, Product, Finance, Delivery and Finance)

Partner with Marketing and CS to create content, engage with top of funnel campaigns as applicable. Adapt existing content (including but not limited to pitch decks, proposals, email templates) based on sales insight, persona and segment

Effectively manage numerous requests concurrently and on deadline; includes managing expectations, developing solution ideas, and escalating delays to leader in timely manner

Utilize reports to identify bottlenecks in the sales cycle and alert sellers of at‑risk opportunities, highly skilled at leveraging CRM for pricing, contracting, and process efficiency and project tracking. Work to become a Pre‑Sales SME with Revenue Intelligence for BI reporting and forecasting

Proactively identify opportunities to improve the sales process, resolve inconsistencies and give insightful feedback to cross functional stakeholders in an effort to improve efficiency across the sales cycle

Support product releases by gaining an understanding of new products / features, serve as a knowledge resource for sellers and provide timely feedback to Product Marketing/Marketing on information requested by both sellers and clients

Qualifications

2‑4 years of related work experience in Sales or Sales Operations, Bachelor’s degree required

Demonstrated ability to think strategically through identification of problems and implement successful, tactical solutions

Self‑motivated with a strong attention to detail and keen ability to prioritize tasks to ensure business critical objectives are met

Skilled at building strong working relationships with team members in varying departments and/or levels of management

Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines

Understanding of the sales cycle and common pain points sellers encounter with a desire to drive improvements

Experience building and / or using sales performance reporting in a CRM, PowerBI or similar software

Excellent written, verbal, and active listening skills

Prior exposure to SaaS technology

Ability to drive productivity working in a remote, fast paced environment

Additional Information This role has a market‑competitive salary with an anticipated base compensation of the following range: $69,000 - $72,000. Actual salaries will vary depending on a candidate’s experience, qualifications, skills, and location. This role might also be eligible for a sales‑based incentive or performance‑based bonus.
