Your Scoreboard We measure performance by the total gross margin contribution from accounts on which you serve as a team member.
Your Role
Prospecting and Lead Management
Identify, qualify, and nurture leads through inbound and outbound efforts.
Conduct proactive calling/email campaigns to generate interest and re‑engage dormant accounts.
Advance opportunities through the pipeline before handing off to the appropriate Territory Manager.
KPIs
Number of new leads qualified per month.
Number of outbound call/email activity.
CRM and Pipeline Management
Maintain complete and accurate records of customer interactions, leads, opportunities, and activities in the CRM system.
Coordinate meetings, tasks, and follow‑ups with Territory Managers.
Generate regular sales activity and pipeline reports for management review.
KPIs
100% of opportunities logged in CRM.
Accuracy and timeliness of data entry (measured by management audits).
Quoting and Pricing Support
Prepare and deliver sales quotes and proposals in coordination with Territory Managers.
Track open quotes and conduct timely follow‑ups to maximize conversion.
KPIs
Quote‑to‑order conversion rate.
Number of active quotes issued per week.
Customer Interaction and Support
Field inbound sales calls and inquiries, qualifying and pursuing leads independently when possible.
Route leads or customers to the appropriate Territory Manager when required.
Follow up with customers regarding samples, trials, and proposals.
KPIs
Response time to inbound calls and inquiries.
Number of inbound leads advanced or assigned.
Attractive Qualifications
2+ years of B2B sales and/or business-to-government sales experience.
Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
Experience in the pavement or pavement preservation industry.
Strong track record of achieving sales targets and growing market share.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Proficiency in CRM systems and a commitment to maintaining detailed records.
Strong presentation skills and the ability to engage and influence diverse audiences.
Willing to undergo hands‑on training with sealing and mastic equipment if not already familiar with these paving products and processes.
