About The Role

To lead technical and industrial engineering strategy and execution across multiple manufacturing sites within the designated Area, connecting global category priorities to site-level delivery through standardised, repeatable processes that enable innovation scale-up, resilient supply, and industrial engineering excellence.

The role builds and governs technical capability at sites – establishing Technical & Industrial Engineering teams where they do not formally exist, embedding performance-oriented industrial engineering principles and ensuring Site Leadership Teams embrace the Operating Model – while enabling data-driven decisions and portfolio resilience to support growth.

This role is not currently sponsoring visas or considering international movement at this time.

Scope/Dimensions of Role

Leadership of Area Technical & Industrial Engineering function, overseeing multiple Site Technical Managers, Industrial Engineers and Technical Leads.
Develop Industrial Engineering and Technical capabilities of the Technical teams in sites without an established technical function, coach and influence Site Leadership Teams to adopt best in class methodologies.
Accountability for NPD scale-up, technology transfer, and industrial engineering initiatives across Area sites. Delivery of TT2 to all the success criteria aligned with the factory/business needs.
Governance of validation standards, technical compliance, and process optimization.
Influence Area CapEx strategy and long-term manufacturing footprint in line with the Category Strat Plan.
Act as the Single Point Of contact (SPOC) to Category Supply VP/Directors within the Area to communicate, deploy and deliver to the Category Strategy into the Area and translate the Area needs to the Category

Accountabilities

Translate category technical strategy into Area deployment plans.
Build Technical capability at sites building the technical leadership.
Lead Technology Transfer & NPI/EPD rollout across the Area.
Deploy standardized inputs and repeatable logic for decision-making.
Ensure validation compliance across Area sites.
Drive portfolio resilience and BCP for raw materials.
Accelerate process optimization and competitiveness.
Partner with Area Leadership to secure alignment and resources

Key Challenges

Balancing global standardization with local adaptability.
Building new Site Technical teams and embedding new ways of working within their respective Site Leadership Teams.
Managing complex, multi-site portfolios under tight timelines.
Partner with Area Leadership to secure alignment and resources
Overcoming fragmented supply-chain data and embedding scalable decision frameworks.

The experience we're looking for

Extensive technical leadership in FMCG/pharma manufacturing (10+ years).
Deep knowledge of industrial engineering, technology transfer, and regulatory standards.
Proven ability to build teams and influence senior stakeholders.
Track record of embedding validation governance and continuous improvement
Ideally hold a degree in a Technical Discipline e.g. Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, Industrial Engineering

US salary ranges

USD $186, $278,000.00

US pay transparency

The base salary range for this role will vary based on experience in job and industry, training and education, skills relevant to the position, and other factors permitted by law. In addition to the base salary, the position is eligible for an annual discretionary bonus, which is subject to change each year.
