TheFloating Store Manager(FM)is responsible forthe management of the ongoing day to day operations of the store, while adhering to Company policies and procedures; direct supervision of staff; maximizing store profits and ensuringa high levelof customer services and store appearance.

"Gauges" of Responsibility

  • Ensure a quality buying experience for all customers.

  • Perform competitive gas price surveys daily.

  • Complete required daily accounting paperwork andtransmitby noon tothe accountingoffice.

  • Make daily bank deposits by noon.

  • Account for ATM and Lottery fundsdaily andmake deposits (where applicable).

  • Keepaccuratefuel inventory records (red book) andreport any excessive variations.

  • Recruit, hire, train, motivate, develop,discipline,andterminatestaff usingappropriate documentation. (i.e.new hire packets, reference checks, communicationforms,etc.).

  • Maintainhigh levelsof cleanliness and sanitation.

  • Order and receive merchandiseutilizinginventory ordering guidelines.

  • Ensuring adequate gasoline levels as well ascoordinatinggasoline deliveries.

  • Maintainan accuratecompliance binder.

  • Performemployeeevaluations.

  • Implement all Company promotional initiatives.

  • Monitors shift cash handling and inventory.Assistsin investigations of shortages/overages of $100 per month or less as well as inventory variations of 0.5% of sales or less.

  • Audit cashier paperwork foraccuracy.

  • Maintainimage standards set forth and image surveys.

  • Report andreview all environment, maintenance issues and unusual occurrences to the proper authority as well as managementpersonnel.

  • Price book maintenance/operation of security cameras (where applicable)/OntheRun (where applicable).

  • PDI reports and functions.

  • Schedule,monitorand control payroll hours on a daily,weekly,and bi-weekly basis.

  • Ability to communicate with associates and guests.

  • Ability to count, read and write accurately to complete required paperwork.

  • Performadditionalmerchandise price surveys.

  • Assistin covering manager vacancies at other store locations.

  • Hire,trainand develop an assistant manager capable of runningthe storein your absence.

  • Attend all mandatorymeetingsand training sessions.

  • Otherdutiesassigned by Territory Manager.

Qualifications

  • Must be available to work flexible hours that may include day,night,weekendsand/or holidays.

  • 1-2years ofsupervisory experience.

  • Must have reliable transportation and valid driver's license.

  • Leadership experience infast-paced retail, foodservice,or fuel environment preferred.

  • Experience selecting, training, and managing staff.

  • Experience with labor allocation, sales building, scheduling, and managing expenses.

  • Experience coaching and developing team members through proper leadership skills.

  • Ability to reach, bend, twist, stoop, kneel, crouch, climb ladder/stairs andliftto 25 lbs. during a shift.

  • Applicants must be at least 18 years old.

Education

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent

Pay Range:

$20.49 - $23.70

The pay range for this position is outlined above. The final amount offered at the start of employment is determined based on factors including, but not limited to, experience level, knowledge, skills, abilities and geographic location, and the Company reserves the right to modify base salary at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, Company or individual department/team performance and market factors.
