Location: Kingston, NY and Poughkeepsie, NY Hours: M-F Flexible LCSW/LMHC Required Regional Behavioral Health Director administers day to day operation of CCBHC and/or behavioral health services within the Hudson Valley region. They may function as the Project Director for grant funded programs and provides daily oversight and timely implementation of the project activities. Partners and assists in development and implementation of the corporate strategic plan and budget and ensured quality service delivery. Provides leadership that instills our belief and values in mental health recovery and hope to individuals diagnosed with mental illness. Less than 40% of travel required.

PRIMARY FUNCTIONS

Administers the daily operations of identified sites/services including but not limited to Clinics and Urgent Care Clinics

Teaches role models and inspires excellence in customer service and satisfaction.

Inspires and leads staff to pursue expert training in evidence-based practice for adults with mental illness and those in dual recovery.

Provides leadership for our integrated care initiatives and partnerships with all agency other clinical behavioral health programs.

Ensures that individuals are provided an array of quality services that result in positive outcomes

Ensures all sites are hitting all CCBHC metrics consistent with regulation, quality measures and certification.

Manages multiple cost centers ensuring maximum generation of revenue, and providing multiple services, while controlling expenses which results in a spending plan for each center.

Collaborates with LGU’s, OMH, OASAS and CCBHC, as well as service providers within each community.

Ensures all behavioral health services meet or exceed Medicaid, Medicare and other federal, state and local standards. Maintains all licenses and certifications required for the operations.

Collaborates with the other formal leaders within the agency.

Partners with the other senior, middle and executive leaders to ensure integrated, quality service delivery to service recipients, facilitating inter-departmental response and coordinated services well designed to meet each recipient’s needs.

Assists in planning and securing service expansion opportunities.

Provides input into the development of the Corporate Strategic Plan, ensures implementation of specific objectives, and provides outcome data to achieve Corporate Key Performance Indicators.

QUALIFICATIONS AND ATTRIBUTES

LCSW/LMHC/PsyD/PhD with more than a 7 years of experience in behavioral health and at least 5 years of experience in a leadership role.

Extensive experience leading trauma and culturally competent care for the underserved population, including work with victims of domestic violence and those experiencing behavioral health crises.

Flexibility to work occasionally outside business hours
