
Director of Kids Ministry Immanuel Baptist Church

Job Summary
The Director of Kids Ministry is responsible for ensuring Immanuel Baptist Church partners with families of children (ages birth – 5th grade) to connect, equip, and multiply the next generation of disciples of Christ.
Responsibilities 1. Vision
Own Immanuel’s vision and mission.
Determine ways to effectively cast and invite others into God’s vision for children and their families.
Develop and personally cast vision for the Kids Ministry.
2. Strategy
Develop, oversee, and implement a strategy to partner with families of children to connect, equip, and multiply the next generation of disciples of Christ.
Create, maintain, and troubleshoot all aspects of our weekly and special event experience for children and their families.
3. Leadership Development
Build, oversee, and champion a culture of leadership development within the Kids Ministry.
Read books and attend approved trainings for sharpening your discipleship and development methods.

Qualifications
If desires to be a pastor, must meet the requirements of an elder/pastor/overseer as outlined in 1 Timothy 3:2-7 and Titus 1:6-9.
Must have a strong theological foundation. A Bachelor’s or Seminary degree is preferred but not required.
Must have a minimum of 3 years of church leadership experience.
Must possess strong leadership, organizational, communication, and teaching skills.
Must be caring and approachable.
Must be evangelistic in ministry approach.
