Responsibilities The Director, Inpatient Care Products, will lead the strategy, discovery, and delivery of digital solutions that drive measurable improvements in patient care, clinician efficiency, and hospital operations. This leader will ensure that every initiative is grounded in validated user needs, rigorous discovery, and clear outcome measurement.
You will:
Define and execute the strategy for digital inpatient products, focusing on high-impact outcomes for patients, clinicians, and operational performance
Lead product discovery efforts to identify critical pain points, validate hypotheses, and de-risk new feature development
Partner with clinicians, hospital operations, Product, Engineering, and Design to uncover unmet needs and shape solutions
Establish measurable success criteria for all initiatives and monitor outcomes to inform roadmap decisions
Drive evidence-based prioritization, ensuring that resources focus on initiatives that deliver the greatest value
Mentor and coach PMs on best practices in discovery, experimentation, and outcome-driven product management
Build and maintain digital roadmaps aligned with organizational goals, patient experience, and operational efficiency
Collaborate with analytics and research teams to leverage data, insights, and experimentation in decision-making

Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in a related field (e.g., Computer Science, Design, Business, Cybersecurity, Health Informatics). Minimum of 10 years of progressive leadership experience in at least one of the following areas: digital health, product development, UX design, enterprise security, or systems operations. Proven experience leading large cross‑functional teams and managing enterprise-level initiatives.
Advanced degree (e.g., MS, MBA, MDes, MPH) in a relevant discipline preferred.
The ideal candidate will possess:
10+ years of experience in Product Management, with at least 5 years leading digital healthcare or clinical‑facing products
Deep understanding of inpatient workflows, clinical operations, and patient needs
Proven experience in product discovery, experimentation, and outcome‑focused product delivery
Track record of delivering measurable improvements in healthcare outcomes, efficiency, or patient experience
Strong collaboration and communication skills, capable of influencing clinical, technical, and executive stakeholders
Experience managing and coaching cross‑functional product teams
Exemption Status Exempt
Compensation Detail $181,604.80 - $272,417.60/ year. Education, experience and tenure may be considered along with internal equity when job offers are extended.
