This role will focus on delivering social-first, digitally driven design work that connects brands with audiences in meaningful and innovative ways.The Associate Design Director will lead creative development across multiple platforms, bringing strong design thinking, attention to detail, and hands on collaboration to every project. This role requires an understanding of complex brands, the ability to translate strategy into compelling creative, and a passion for pushing design forward in a fast-moving environment.**Responsibilities*** Deliver high-quality, social-first design work that aligns with client brand standards and strategic objectives* Lead projects from concept through execution, providing clear design rationale and creative direction* Provide mentorship and guidance to designers, supporting conceptual thinking and design excellence* Develop innovative design solutions across digital, social, and integrated platforms* Stay current on design, cultural, and industry trends, particularly within technology and digital ecosystems* Partner closely with Account Service, Strategy, and other creative disciplines to develop and present solutions* Understand and apply client business goals, audience insights, and brand frameworks### **Basic Qualifications*** Minimum of six (6) years of relevant design experience, including at least three (3) years in an agency environment* Strong portfolio demonstrating social-first and digital design work* Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) in Fine Arts, Advertising, Graphic Design, or a related field### **Preferred Qualifications*** Strong foundation in graphic design, layout, composition, and typography* Experience designing within established brand systems and guidelines* Proficiency in Adobe InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, Keynote, PowerPoint, and Microsoft Office Suite* Highly collaborative, organized, and detail-oriented creative leader* Ability to manage multiple projects, meet deadlines, and maintain design quality* Awareness of emerging technologies and trends relevant to digital and social design* Interest in professional growth and mentoring junior team membersAn employee’s pay position within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, travel requirements, revenue-based metrics, any contractual agreements, and business or organizational needs. The range listed is just one component of DJEH’s total compensation package for employees.
