JOB HIGHLIGHTS
Must have LNHA licensure in state of Iowa; initial assignment is in the Des Moines, IA area

JOB SUMMARY The Interim Executive Director is a Licensed Nursing Home Administrator(LNHA) who temporarily directs the day-to-day functions of the facility in accordance with current federal, state and local standards, guidelines and regulations that govern long-term care facilities to assure that the highest degree of quality care can be always provided to our residents. Follows all established policies and procedures to include nursing care procedures, safety regulations, human resources policies, departmental policies and procedures to assure that quality resident care and an effective operation can be maintained.
QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor’s degree (IA, MN) or Associate’s degree (NE, SD) is required; if degree is not in healthcare, additional education may be required per state regulations.
Experience serving in a supervisory role; healthcare experience is favorable.
Nursing Home Administrator’s license.
Must be capable of performing the Essential Functions of this job, with or without reasonable accommodation.
