About the Role
We are actively seeking a passionate and strategic Director to lead our philanthropic AI initiatives. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for the overall strategic and operational management of our organization's goals, focusing on advancing socially beneficial AI development and deployment. Your vision will shape our public interest AI agenda, build trust among stakeholders, and enhance the impact of our initiatives.
As the Director, you will play a crucial role in fostering collaboration among funders and ensuring alignment towards our shared mission. You will need to skillfully navigate diverse priorities and facilitate coordination among a wide range of partners.
The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in key areas such as democracy, education, humanities and culture, labor and economy, or security, along with a proven track record of leading collaborative efforts. A deep understanding of the intersection between AI and these critical issue areas is essential.
As part of your responsibilities, you will work closely with the Steering Committee and other funders to uphold our mission and values while maximizing the impact of our initiatives.
