Join JPMorgan Chase as a Managing Director on our Global Credit Trading team within the Global Markets business. This is a unique opportunity to join a high-impact team, where you will source, structure, trade, and oversee secondary aviation leasing transactions.

Job Summary You will be responsible for sourcing, structuring, trading, and overseeing secondary aircraft and engines lease transactions.

Job Responsibilities

Drive sourcing, structuring, negotiation, trading, and execution of aircraft and engine finance and operating lease secondary transactions.

Develop and maintain relationships with airlines, lessors, OEMs, and other aviation counterparties.

Oversee preparation and negotiation of term sheets, lease agreements, and related documentation.

Manage diverse aviation lease assets, ensuring optimal risk‑adjusted returns.

Oversee ongoing management of the assets, including monitoring lessee performance, maintenance condition, and compliance with lease terms.

Drive credit assessment, collateral valuation, and cash flow modeling for new and existing transactions.

Maintain robust risk management practices, including scenario analysis and stress testing.

Grow, mentor, and manage a high‑performing team of origination and asset management professionals.

Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills

Minimum 10 years of experience in the aviation leasing industry, with a proven track record in origination, structuring, and asset management.

Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree (MBA, MS Finance, etc.) preferred.

Demonstrated leadership experience, including building and managing teams.

Deep network within the aviation finance community (airlines, lessors, OEMs, appraisers, MROs).

Strong technical skills in aircraft and engine appraisal, lease cash flow modeling, credit assessment, and negotiation of complex agreements.

Excellent interpersonal, communication, and relationship management skills.

Strategic thinker with a commercial orientation and ability to generate risk‑adjusted returns.

High level of integrity, ethics, and professionalism.

Ability to work effectively in a fast‑paced, global environment and manage competing priorities.

Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills

Familiarity with FAA/EASA/Cape Town registry considerations.

Experience representing aviation leasing initiatives internally and externally.

Proven ability to provide market intelligence and thematic insights to inform investment decisions.

FINRA Licensed with the SIE, Series 7, and Series 63.
