Job Summary: As an individual contributor the Executive Director, Capital Markets ensures the accuracy, consistency, and strategic value of Trimont’s portfolio-level reporting, forecasting, and capital-markets execution. This role serves as the senior reviewer for all portfolio reporting outputs and provides cross-platform leadership across Capital Markets and FP&A. The position requires a highly analytical leader capable of synthesizing complex information and driving consistency across a large platform.

Responsibilities:

Serve as the senior reviewer for all portfolio-level reporting, including Investment Committee materials, Monthly Lender Covenant reporting, Management Reporting, Lender and Investor Reporting, and ad hoc portfolio analyses.

Provide leadership across Capital Markets and FP&A, working collaboratively with finance, legal, treasury, and operational teams to maintain an integrated approach to forecasting and reporting.

Oversee cross-portfolio forecasting processes, including methodology, assumptions, and consolidated outputs, with direct review and strategic oversight from the Managing Director, Capital Markets.

Analyze portfolio performance, trends, risks, and exposures, delivering actionable recommendations to senior leadership and capital providers.

Support the development and execution of capital-markets strategies by ensuring portfolio analytics and reporting frameworks are robust, scalable, and aligned with lender and investor requirements.

Lead or support enterprise-level initiatives and special projects that impact portfolio reporting, forecasting, capital-markets execution, or lender/investor communications.

Partner with internal and external stakeholders to ensure clarity, transparency, and confidence in Trimont’s portfolio-level financial outputs.

Oversee the reporting and returns of the Commercial Servicing Contracts (CSCs) and Servicing Advance (SA) investment vehicles.

Maintain high standards of reporting quality, timeliness, and compliance across all portfolio-related deliverables.

Manage relationships with corporate funding providers, including asset-level equity and debt facilities, and oversee banking relationships related to deposit accounts and revenue strategies.

Develop and present financing options for corporate entities and assets, including refinancing and future financing strategies for CSCs and SAs, to executive management and the Board.

Foster effective working relationships across teams to ensure integrated hedging, lending, and equity investment strategies.

Prepare risk assessments, business cases, cash flow models, and Board materials for proposed financing and hedging strategies.

Develop a detailed understanding of the company’s borrowing facilities and compliance requirements. Use the knowledge to ensure effective and efficient compliance reporting and monitoring practices are in place.

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in finance or business related.

Advanced understanding of the corporate lending market

Advanced understanding of the interest rate hedging market, structures & practices, compliance documentation and reporting requirements.

9+ years of experience in related fields, including in a lead capacity.

Strong Analytical skills with the ability to critically assess data points and develop innovative solutions.

Knowledge of commercial real estate financing and securitization transactions and related terminology.

Strong verbal and written communication skills

Demonstrated capacity to achieve results in a dynamic setting.

Organizational and administrative skills that reflect attention to detail and the ability to prioritize amidst competing demands.

Skilled in managing sensitive information while upholding privacy.

Handling workload and special projects efficiently.

Ability to work both independently and within a team environment.
