Duties: We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst to lead the collaboration with business users in designing and documenting requirements for the implementation of a Wealth custodial platform. The ideal candidate will effectively bridge the gap between business needs and technical solutions, ensuring seamless integration of investment and wealth management processes, from account opening to back-office operations. This role demands strong communication, transparency, and accountability, as the analyst will prioritize tasks, provide proactive updates on progress, and take ownership of deliverables. Success hinges on the ability to understand broader objectives, anticipate needs, and execute with minimal oversight while maintaining alignment with stakeholders.

The candidate will act as a key liaison between business users, IT teams, and vendors, ensuring clarity in requirements and fostering a culture of collaboration and results-driven execution.

Skills: Requirements Gathering & Analysis:

Partner with business stakeholders (e.g., account administrators, operations teams, reporting teams) to elicit, document, and prioritize functional and non-functional requirements for the custodial platform. Analyze workflows for account opening, servicing, money and asset processing, and back-office operations (e.g., settlements, corporate actions, reporting). Collaborate with business and Risk partners to assess requirements for risk and downstream impacts

Stakeholder Collaboration:

Facilitate workshops and interviews to align business needs with technical feasibility. Liaise between business users, IT teams, and vendors during platform implementation.

Documentation & Testing:

Create detailed user stories, process flows, and test cases. Support user acceptance testing (UAT) and validate solutions against requirements.

Experience:

6-9 years as a business analyst in wealth management, custody, or investment operations. Prior experience with custodial platform implementations (e.g., Charles River, Envestnet, or proprietary systems). Deep understanding of investment products (e.g., equities, bonds, mutual funds), account types (e.g., advisory, custody, IRA, trust), and back-office functions (e.g., trade settlement, asset servicing). Proficiency in requirements management tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence), process modeling (BPMN), and data analysis. Strong communication, problem-solving, and stakeholder management abilities. Familiarity with wealth management regulatory frameworks is preferred. Bachelor's degree in finance, business, or a related field. Certifications (e.g., CBAP, CFA) are a plus.
