Optomi, in partnership with a leading innovator in hardware and software integration, is seeking a Senior Product (UX/UI) Designer to join their Richardson, TX team onsite. This Senior Product Designer should excel at crafting seamless, intuitive user experiences that bridge mobile applications and hardware products. This role involves leading design initiatives that transform how users interact with our ecosystem, ensuring solutions are both functional and delightful. The ideal candidate will collaborate closely with product managers, engineers, and marketing teams to create effortless experiences that elevate the brand.

Experience of the right candidate:

5+ years of experience in UX/UI design, with a portfolio showcasing mobile app and hardware-integrated experiences.

Expertise in design and prototyping tools, including Figma.

Experience designing for cross-platform native applications (Android and iOS).

Strong understanding of user-centered design principles, accessibility, and responsive design.

Excellent communication and leadership skills.

Responsibilities of the right candidate:

Lead UX/UI design for B2B and B2C mobile and hardware-integrated products, ensuring intuitive navigation and responsive design.

Create wireframes, interactive prototypes, and high-fidelity designs that communicate intent clearly across teams.

Maintain and evolve the design system to ensure consistency across products.

Collaborate with product management, engineering, and marketing to ensure designs are desirable, feasible, and viable.

Advocate for accessibility, usability, and consistency across all touchpoints.

Stay ahead of emerging trends in mobile UX, hardware interaction, and cross-platform design.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience designing for IoT devices, wearables, or hardware ecosystems.

Familiarity with gesture-based interactions, haptics, and mobile performance constraints.

Strong problem-solving abilities and a collaborative mindset.
