Role Description This is a full‑time, on‑site role for an Architectural Drafter located in the Washington, DC area. The primary responsibilities include preparing engineering drawings, including architectural, structural, electrical, plumbing, and mechanical sheets. The role involves developing detailed construction documents and supporting the design and planning efforts for a variety of projects.
The Architectural Drafter will collaborate closely with architects, engineers, and project teams to produce accurate and comprehensive documentation, ensuring that all project requirements and standards are met.
Qualifications
Proficiency in Architectural Drawings and Construction Drawings
Knowledge or experience in Architecture, Planning, and Design workflows
Strong aptitude in structural details and principles of Drawing and Drafting
Proficiency in design software (e.g., vectorworks, AutoCAD, Revit, or related tools)
Exceptional attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
Excellent teamwork and communication skills
Associate or bachelor's degree in Architecture, Drafting, or a related field
Experience in residential or commercial construction projects is a plus
