
Position Overview
We are inviting an
Architectural Designer
with 3 to 5 years of professional experience to join our collaborative and dynamic team. The ideal candidate is a creative problem-solver who possesses a strong design aesthetic and the technical proficiency to move projects from conceptual sketches through construction documentation. In this role, you will work closely with Project Architects and Project Managers, taking on increasing responsibility for project delivery and consultant coordination. Our mid-size firm provides an ideal opportunity to learn and experience a wide range of roles and phases of the design process. Key Responsibilities
Design Development:
Contribute to all phases of design, including programming, schematic design, and design development. Documentation:
Produce high-quality Construction Documents (CDs) and detailing with a high level of accuracy. Coordination:
Assist in coordinating integrated design solutions with our engineers and specialty consultants. Project Management:
Assist in managing project tasks, including administrative tasks, client contact, and construction oversight. Qualifications & Skills
Education:
Professional degree in Architecture (B.Arch or M.Arch) from an accredited program. Experience:
3–5 years of post-graduate experience in a range of project types and market sectors; healthcare experience is preferred. Software Proficiency: Technical Knowledge:
Working knowledge of building systems, materials, and construction assemblies. Regulatory Knowledge:
Ability to research applicable building codes and guidelines. Licensure Track:
Currently earning AXP hours and pursuing (or intending to pursue) professional licensure. Soft Skills:
Excellent verbal and written communication; ability to manage time across multiple projects. What We Offer
