Position Summary We are seeing a Tech Representative for Augusta, ME to provide technical expertise, product demonstrations, training, and troubleshooting support to customers and Colours Inc. employees. This role is responsible for ensuring proper use of PPG products, maintaining strong relationships with customer shops, and supporting the implementation of standardized processes.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct product demonstrations and provide hands‑on technical training.
Troubleshoot product application issues and offer professional technical support.
Assist with the implementation and training of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
Work directly with PPG customers and collaborate with PBE vendors.
Perform customer shop audits and provide follow‑up recommendations.
Keep employees and store teams informed on new products, updates, and industry changes.
Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent.
Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
Experience with PPG products and the Automotive PBE industry preferred.
Strong communication, presentation, and customer service skills.
Ability to problem‑solve and provide technical guidance.
Highly organized, dependable, and able to meet deadlines.
Willingness and ability to learn new products and processes.
Ability to work independently and within a team environment.
Good communication skills and a strong customer service mindset.
Punctual, dependable, and able to work independently
Knowledge of local delivery routes and territory is helpful
