In the role of Real Estate Services Lead, we'll count on you to:

Plan and manage all aspects of small to medium single-discipline projects or large, routine projects

Independently coordinate work of professional staff and balance team throughout entire project's development

Be proficient in implementing applicable federal, state and industry laws, regulations, and procedures such as FHWA, FAA, FTA, FRA, FERC, NEPA, IDOT Land Acquisition Policies and Procedures Manual, and the Uniform Act, as well as the client's policies and procedures

In conjunction with others, perform activities to support Real Property projects, such as property assessments, risk analysis, acquisition of needed rights, occupant relocation, property management, construction coordination, and utility relocation/coordination

Prioritize work and perform activities at a high level

Work closely with a team, confidently with clients, property owners and occupants

Communicate and document effectively

Establish client relations, and be involved with marketing, contractual, design and production meetings

Participate in reviews with various governing agencies for compliance

Conduct work sessions for design development and contract document in conjunction with other staff

Coordinate workload through entire project development, and ensure completion of documents on schedule

Track financial aspects of projects, and coordinate and adjust work effort with team to ensure that work is completed within parameters of agreed-to schedule

Work with Business/Accounting Manager or Project Controller and Department Manager for project reviews and with company management as needed

Implement QA/QC procedures

Perform other duties as needed

Preferred Qualifications

Successful project leadership experience

Strong leadership, planning, mentoring skills, and staff management experience

Expert testimony experience desirable

IDOT certified negotiator

Relocation agent desirable

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in related field

7 years related experience

A minimum of 2 years project management experience

Must have the ability to interact with various design teams, have excellent organizational, project management and communication (both written and verbal) skills

The expected compensation range for this position depends upon skills, experience, education and geographical location. (Stated benefits are for full-time regular positions. Temporary and part-time roles eligible for limited benefits.) $120,467.00 - $172,095.00.
