Iverson Auto is looking for a reliable and motivated Car Porter to join our team at our Mitchell, SD location. This is a great opportunity to work in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment with a company that values professionalism and teamwork.
Job Responsibilities
Safely move vehicles around the dealership lot, service areas, and detail bays.
Assist with vehicle check-in and check-out processes.
Maintain cleanliness of vehicles, including interior and exterior washing as needed.
Assist the service and sales departments with customer pick-up/drop-off and vehicle delivery.
Fuel vehicles and ensure they are ready for customer delivery.
Performing maintenance tasks, such as topping off vehicle fluids, charging batteries etc.
Cleaning the auto dealership parking lot, shop area, including picking up trash and removing snow or ice.
Starting vehicles regularly and making sure there aren’t any issues with them.
Running errands for various departments, including sales, parts and service dept.
Pick up and deliver customer vehicles.
Routinely assist with towing disabled vehicles.
Perform other general duties as assigned by management.
Qualifications
Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
Ability to safely operate a wide variety of vehicles, including automatic and manual transmissions.
Dependable, punctual, and able to work independently or as part of a team.
Attention to detail and good communication skills.
Must be able to stand, walk, and be outdoors for extended periods in all weather conditions.
