You’ll assist in day-to-day servicing functions, proactively monitor credit risk, and help ensure the loan portfolio is in compliance with internal policies and procedures. Working closely with your team and under the guidance of the Senior Portfolio Manager, you’ll contribute to the long-term financial health of Live Oak Bank by helping identify emerging risks, supporting collection efforts, and enhancing the borrower experience through timely servicing actions.**What You’ll Do at Live Oak Bank*** Assist in the day-to-day servicing of the LOE portfolio of loans, including monitoring payments, financial performance, and compliance* Complete annual reviews, risk ratings, and loan-level credit assessments* Draft and issue borrower communications such as Right to Cure letters under the guidance of senior team members* Assist with identifying and escalating loans that may require loss mitigation, collections, or special asset involvement* Contribute to quarterly portfolio reporting and annual watchlist preparation* Support the team in maintaining accurate and up-to-date records, servicing notes, and collection logs* Help track borrower outreach and repayment efforts using internal tools and checklists* Communicate with borrowers regarding loan servicing issues, repayment plans, or account status, with support from the Senior Portfolio Manager* Ensure servicing actions are performed in accordance with bank policies, procedures, and SBA guidelines* Participate in ongoing training and development opportunities in loan servicing, credit risk, and SBA regulations* Collaborate closely with Senior Portfolio Manager and Live Oak Express team to maintain the highest standards of loan servicing* Use internal systems to track portfolio performance and borrower compliance* Exhibit strong attention to detail and accuracy when preparing reports or documenting servicing actions* Work cross-functionally with the Credit and Special Assets teams to support risk management and recovery strategies* Bring a proactive and solutions-oriented approach to servicing challenges* Demonstrate professionalism and empathy in borrower communications, especially during collections or escalated servicing situations* Maintain a high standard of regulatory awareness including BSA, AML, CIP, and OFAC**Required Experience*** Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience* Excellent computer skills* Strong customer service and interpersonal skills**Preferred Experience*** Effective verbal and written communication skills* Intellectually curious* Strong work ethic, self-motivated, get it done attitude**Our Values*** **Dedication:** Possess a deep commitment to Live Oak Bank’s mission and core values, exemplified through a strong work ethic, adaptability and pride in your work.* **Ownership:** Take initiative to deliver positive results by proactively and creatively solving problems, while maintaining a high degree of quality.* **Respect:** Treat everyone with courtesy, politeness, and kindness.* **Innovation:** Embrace fresh ideas and fearlessly contribute new solutions to emerging or existing problems.* **Teamwork:** Foster collaboration, accountability, and trust with others and understand that together, we do moreFor a detailed overview of our employee benefits please visit:Live Oak Bank is an Affirmative Action and Equal Opportunity Employer, Minorities/Women/Veterans/Disabled.
