Get to Know Your Team:

Lovelace Medical Center is an acute care hospital with 263 licensed beds, providing comprehensive care, including around-the-clock emergency care, surgical services, non-invasive robotic spine surgery, stroke care, radiology and oncology services.

Responsibilities

Prepares, measures, and administers radiopharmaceuticals for use in diagnostic and therapeutic procedures. Adheres to policies, procedures, and regulations to ensure compliance and patient safety.

May provide clerical support for the assigned department, including but not limited to scheduling appointments, record keeping and answering phones.

Performs quality control and maintains equipment, and reports areas of concern to the appropriate manager.

Adheres to policies, procedures, and regulations to ensure compliance and patient safety.

Maintains credentials and/or licensures.

Participates and attends departmental meetings.

Takes ownership of assignments; other duties as assigned or requested.

Communicates and listens effectively with internal and external customers; effectively understands instructions and shares knowledge.

Cooperates and interacts with supervisors, peers, other departments, and all customer groups, demonstrating our commitment to “service”.

Qualifications Job Requirements

Graduate of an Accredited Nuclear Medicine Program.

One (1) year clinical internship

ARRT(N), or NMTCB, or ASCP(N)

Nuclear Medicine Technologist Certificate issued by the State of NM.

BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care.

Preferred Job Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree.

Two (2) years of related experience.
