SRS has an immediate opening for a

Construction Superintendent

to support projects at federal facilities in the southwestern region.

Key Responsibilities

Overseeing various construction-related tasks to support remedial construction at DOD facilities.

Coordinate, manage, and oversee subcontractors, instituting USACE and NAVFAC safety and quality control systems, providing occasional construction services of various trades, and supporting the project manager to stay on budget and on schedule.

Occasional weekend and evening hours may be needed.

Requirements Minimum Qualifications

5+ years of continuous experience in the construction trades with some experience performing or overseeing earthwork, remedial construction/demolition, and infrastructure projects.

Highly motivated, self-directed, customer-service-focused team player who can travel and work at military bases across the southwest.

Interest in traveling for extended periods of time to support projects as needed.

Must be able to pass a Federal Background Check in order to gain access to project sites.

Must be able to pass a DMV check and maintain an acceptable driving record.

Ability to prepare clear, concise daily reports summarizing project progress, quality control items, safety items, and other aspects of project execution.

Ability to effectively communicate with project managers and other team members and troubleshoot issues independently.

Preferred Qualifications

Prior experience in the construction trades or abatement/demolition projects.

Current 40 Hour HAZWOPER certification

Current OSHA 30-hr Construction Safety certification

Current OSHA 40-hr USACE EM 385-1-1 Training

Good communicator and team player; able to work independently but understands lines of responsibility.

Demonstrated problem-solving ability.

Prior experience working on active and former military installations is a plus.

Compensation Range $40-55/Hour + Benefits
