Homewerks Worldwide, LLC, a leading import distributor of home improvement products for major retailers is seeking a Pricing Analyst in our Business Intelligence Department. Homewerks Worldwide develops, sources, and markets bathroom, kitchen, and plumbing products for home and commercial use. Position Summary We are seeking a proactive and analytical Pricing Analyst to join our team. This pivotal role involves developing and implementing strategic pricing models that ensure sustained profitability and competitiveness in an evolving global market, with a specific focus on navigating changing international trade and tariff policies. The ideal candidate will synthesize complex internal cost modeling, shifting sourcing strategies, and external market trends to optimize our pricing structures and mitigate financial risks.

Responsibilities

Monitor Trade Policy: Proactively track and interpret changes in international trade agreements, tariffs, and customs regulations to assess their potential impact on material costs and pricing strategies.

Margin and Profitability Analysis: Conduct detailed margin and profitability analyses, factoring in all component costs such as tariffs and customs fees, to recommend price adjustments that protect the company's bottom line.

Financial Modeling: Develop and maintain complex pricing and cost models that incorporate various trade scenarios and "what‑if" logic to forecast the financial implications of pricing decisions and anticipate market shifts.

Competitive Analysis: Research and analyze competitor pricing strategies and market positioning within the context of the current trade landscape to maintain a competitive edge.

Cross‑functional Collaboration: Partner with the Finance, Supply Chain, Sales, and Marketing teams to align pricing strategies with cost structures, inventory dynamics, and overall business objectives.

Reporting and Communication: Prepare and present clear, executive‑ready reports and data visualizations to senior management, highlighting pricing effectiveness, tariff exposure, and key opportunities for optimization.

Compliance Assurance: Ensure all pricing strategies and documentation adhere to relevant international trade laws and financial regulations.

Qualifications

Four-year degree in related field of study

5-8 years’ experience in business analytics

Required Skills

Strong Microsoft Office skills, especially Microsoft Excel and Outlook.

Strong Analytical skills, experience with MS SQL or compatible relational database language

Skilled at utilizing Power BI for data modeling, data visualization, reporting and data analysis

Comfortable and adept working with large amounts of data and in online data portals

Analytical and creative problem‑solving abilities

Resourceful at gathering information and identifying ways to achieve goals

Exhibits a can‑do attitude and customer service mindset

Strong organizational and time management skills

Able to manage multiple activities simultaneously

Excellent oral and written communication skills and strong documentation skills.

High level of organization and attention to detail.

Strong Microsoft Office skills, especially Microsoft Excel and Outlook.

Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.

Preferred Skills

Experience in home improvement / hardware industry

Experience implementing pricing management processes in an ERP system, M3 preferred
