Description

Lead the quarterly and annual tax provision process

Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local tax regulations in New York and other applicable jurisdictions.

Oversee the preparation and review of tax returns and related documentation.

Provide strategic tax advice to internal stakeholders and leadership teams.

Collaborate with external advisors and auditors on tax-related matters.

Monitor changes in tax laws and regulations to ensure the company remains compliant.

Manage and mentor the tax team to achieve departmental goals effectively.

Identify opportunities for tax savings and process improvements.

Profile A successful VP Tax Manager should have:

A strong background in corporate tax compliance and provision experience within the financial services industry.

Up-C structure and partnership tax experience is a plus.

Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills.

Proven ability to lead and develop teams effectively.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills for collaborating with stakeholders.

A relevant degree in accounting, finance, or a related field, with professional certifications preferred.

Job Offer
