Job Description POSITION SUMMARY

Responsible for ensuring gas station is fully stocked, well‑maintained, and in full working order while providing excellent customer service.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

A. JOB DUTIES

Customer service: Provides excellent customer service to internal and external customers. Assures procedures operate within the framework of organizational goals and objectives. Sells tobacco and other convenience store products.

Operations: Responsible for complete station operations in the absence of the Station Manager. Assist with the training and development of all new hires.

Cash management: Must have previous experience handling money and using a computerized cash register and credit card machine. Must be able to balance cash drawer at end of shift.

Performs other related duties as required: Performs a variety of general duties, dispensing of propane, ordering, restocking products, cleaning and maintaining the facility, and other routine functions.

D. ESSENTIAL JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

Education : High School diploma or GED is required.

Experience : Must have a minimum of one year work experience. Retail and/or gas station experience is preferred. Must have previous money handling, credit card and cash register experience. Must have general knowledge of accounting procedures.

Licensure/Certification : Must be able to acquire propane certificate within 30 days of hire.

Other Qualifications : Must be able to work cooperatively with others. Must possess the ability to make decisions according to pre‑defined guidelines. Must possess a desire to perform at a high level but doing more than required.

Attendance : Regular attendance is a requirement of this position.

English Language : Must be able to read, write, and speak English.
