Assisted Living Locators of the Space & Treasure Coast, Palm Bay, Florida, United States, 32905
Location:
Local / Florida-based (Vero Beach, Palm Bay, Melbourne, Daytona Beach)
Company:
Assisted Living Locators — “Matchmaking Seniors with Caring Providers for Over two Decades”
Type:
Independent Contractor (Commission / placement-fee based compensation)
Families making the decision to move a loved one into senior living are overwhelmed — hundreds of online listings, confusing levels of care, hidden fees, and high-stakes emotions. As a local Senior Placement Specialist you’ll be the trusted, local expert families rely on to remove the guesswork, reduce stress, and find the right community where seniors are safe, supported, and engaged.
Assisted Living Locators is focused on making appropriate placements that match medical needs, lifestyle preferences and budgets. Our local specialists place clients into the least-restrictive appropriate environments and act as consultative advisors throughout the process.
Clients receive our advice and help at
no cost
— our compensation comes from community placement fees, not from families.
What you’ll do: As an Independent Contractor Senior Placement Specialist you will:
Conduct in-person or virtual consultations with seniors and family members to assess medical needs, care preferences, budget, and long-term goals.
Provide personalized recommendations and explain levels of care, pricing structures, contracts, and community cultures.
Arrange and conduct tours of senior living communities, ask targeted questions of staff, and evaluate community quality first‑hand.
Build and maintain local relationships with senior living communities, care providers, hospice, social workers and other referral sources.
Coordinate move‑in logistics, follow up with families and communities, and ensure client satisfaction after placement.
Keep timely, accurate records of leads, referrals, and placements; comply with company processes and reporting.
Who we’re looking for: You are an empathetic, organized local professional who knows your community and cares deeply about helping seniors and families make life-changing decisions. Ideal candidates will have:
Experience in senior care, geriatric case management, social work, nursing, hospice, senior living sales, or a related field.
Strong listening and communication skills — able to translate clinical and contractual information into plain language for families.
Demonstrated ability to tour and evaluate senior living communities and ask the right questions about care and services.
A local network of senior care contacts or the willingness to build one quickly.
Reliable transportation and a flexible schedule to meet with families and community partners in the field.
Ability to pass background checks and any required local licensing or insurance requirements.
Certified Senior Advisor (CSA) or equivalent training is a plus; we support ongoing professional development.
This is an
independent contractor
role — contractors are responsible for their own taxes and business expenses.
Compensation is
placement/commission-based
(competitive rates tied to placements). Specific commission details will be discussed during the interview process.
You will receive lead support, access to company systems and training, and the opportunity to make meaningful, local impact for seniors and families.
Why this work matters: You won’t be simply sending a list of options — you’ll be guiding families step-by-step, advocating for seniors’ needs, and helping people find a safe, fulfilling place to call home. If you want a field role with autonomy, meaningful mission, and the chance to build a local senior care practice, this is for you.
How to apply: Email your resume and a short cover letter to Graham Garson — ggarson@assistedlivinglocators.com with the subject line:

In your cover letter, please tell us the local market you’d like to serve and a brief summary of your relevant experience or connections in senior care.
