* Strong managerial, interpersonal and technical skills* An in-depth understanding of engineering and maintenance on naval ships as well as a basic understanding of NC building codes* Knowledge of both government and non-profit financial management* Experience in budgeting and contract development and oversight* Very strong working knowledge of computers, internal communications systems, and other IT platforms* Must be able to work Monday – Friday, 8 AM – 5 PM with 1 hour lunch break* Must be able to traverse steep stairs and ramp enroute to assigned workspace and work in cramped spaces that may have little or no climate control* The Assistant Director often works long hours and occasional weekend and evening engagements**Click**
