CRE Financial Analyst
CommercializeIQ | AI-Powered Business Intelligence for Commercial Real Estate
CommercializeIQ is an AI-powered Business Intelligence platform built specifically for commercial real estate. We centralize asset data, automate data integration, and deliver real-time insights that help owners, asset managers, and investors operate proactively instead of reactively.
We’re hiring a CRE Financial Analyst (2+ years experience)
to support the ingestion, validation, and structuring of client-provided financial data that feeds directly into our proprietary AI platform.
This is not a generic analyst role. It is specialized and requires a background in commercial real estate accounting. You’ll play a critical role in ensuring data integrity while also helping refine how our system interprets and learns from real-world CRE financial structures.
What You’ll Do
Review and process Trial Balances, Balance Sheets, General Ledgers, Income Statements, and Rent Rolls
Ensure data is accurate, clean, and properly structured for ingestion into our CRE AI platform
Identify, flag, and resolve inconsistencies, misclassifications, or missing data
Validate property-level financial integrity across multiple asset types
Collaborate with internal product and data teams to strengthen portfolio-level accuracy
Provide feedback that improves how our data model categorizes and interprets CRE accounting data
Help translate real-world property accounting into structured, scalable data logic
What We’re Looking For
2+ years of experience in commercial real estate accounting or financial analysis
Direct experience working with property-level financials
Strong understanding of CRE-specific accounting structures including CAM, recoveries, NNN structures, accruals, and property-level reporting
Experience reviewing full GL detail and reconciling discrepancies
Familiarity with platforms like Yardi, MRI, AppFolio, or similar systems is a strong plus
Detail-oriented, structured thinker who is comfortable working through nuance
Comfortable operating at the intersection of finance and technology
