The

Real Estate Underwriting Analyst

supports the firm’s acquisitions platform through accurate financial modeling, underwriting execution, market research, and data integrity. This is a high-volume, execution-focused role designed to enable senior investment leaders to focus on judgment, negotiations, and capital decisions. This is

not

a decision-making position. Success is measured by accuracy, speed, reliability, and process adherence. Core Responsibilities

Underwriting & Financial Modeling Input rent rolls, operating statements, comps, and market data into underwriting models and Argus Maintain clean, audit-ready financial models with validated assumptions Identify discrepancies and flag inconsistencies proactively Support 8–10 underwriting assignments per week with high accuracy Deal Intake & Pipeline Management Enter and maintain new deal opportunities in CRM systems Route on-market offerings through internal systems within 24–48 hours Support off-market and broker outreach processes per SOP Ensure pipeline data integrity and completeness across tools Market Research & Investment Materials Pull rent, lease, and sale comps from CoStar (or comparable platforms) Populate screening sheets and investment committee materials Prepare charts, visuals, and structured data summaries as directed Support memo preparation with clean quantitative outputs LOI, Diligence & Transaction Support Draft Letters of Intent (LOIs) using approved templates Maintain diligence trackers and organize third-party deliverables Coordinate documentation and file management during closing Data Quality & Process Discipline Maintain consistent, accurate data across CRM, underwriting models, and reporting tools Conduct self-QC before submission Improve process reliability and system hygiene over time Success Metrics (First 90 Days)

Accuracy:

≤1% error rate; 90%+ of work passes QC on first review Velocity:

Consistent support of 8–10 underwriting models per week Tool Compliance:

100% of deals routed through required systems Reliability:

Meets deadlines with minimal follow-up required Required Qualifications

2–5 years of commercial real estate underwriting or acquisitions support experience Strong Excel skills (advanced formulas, structured financial modeling) Experience inputting and validating financial data Familiarity with Argus (preferred) Experience using CoStar or comparable market data tools High attention to detail and strong deadline discipline Comfortable applying foundational financial concepts in real estate contexts English must be strong enough for clear internal communication, though the role is mostly internal-facing. This role is designed as a high-impact support position within a lean acquisitions team. As the analyst demonstrates accuracy, ownership, and strong judgment, there will be opportunities to take on increased responsibility across underwriting, investment committee materials, and diligence coordination. High performers will gain exposure to live transactions, investment decision processes, and asset-level strategy within an active acquisitions platform. Working hours

Full-time role aligned with U.S. business hours (9 AM – 5 PM EST or CST). Consistent real-time collaboration with the acquisitions team is required. What We Offer

Full-time position (8 working hours per day, Monday–Friday) aligned with U.S. business hours (EST or CST). Remote work. You may be located in any city, provided you have a reliable internet connection, a suitable work setup, and the ability to consistently align with the team’s time zone.
