**JOB OVERVIEW:**This position is responsible for proactively identifying, engaging, and qualifying potential customers through cold calling and visiting new and existing customers. This role is responsible for prospecting, engaging, and placing orders via phone, in person, and email with both new and existing customers across athletic facilities, including professional sports organizations, universities, K–12 schools, and physical therapy accounts. This sales representative builds and maintains strong internal and external partnerships, collaborating closely with vendors, and internal support teams to ensure customer satisfaction, account growth, and successful order fulfillment. This position is focused on growing sales by capturing new business (80%) and servicing existing business (20%).**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:*** Owns and manages all field sales activities within a designated territory, promoting and selling athletic training and physical therapy supplies and equipment.* Establishes and maintains regular, in-person contact with all assigned accounts on a scheduled and recurring basis.* Develops and manages an assigned territory with a primary focus on increasing market share through the acquisition of new accounts.* Focuses on growing account base by obtaining and onboarding new customers along with growing sales by selling deeper and wider in existing accounts.* Achieve 100% growth targets consistently.* Partner and collaborate with Athletic & Schools Account Representative to build the business and drive revenue* Responds to customer’s concern in a timely fashion, takes appropriate actions to ensure customer issues/opportunities are communicated and addressed* Attend all conventions/seminars as requested and participates in all training programs as instructed by leadership* Participates in special projects and performs other duties as required.**SPECIFIC KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS:*** Excellent computer skills including Microsoft office (Word and Excel).* Strong selling and presentation skills* Strong analytical skills with the ability to analyze and interpret sales data.* Experience negotiating in a sales environment**MINIMUM WORK EXPERIENCE:**Sales experience and/or athletic training background preferred**PREFERRED EDUCATION:**Typically a Bachelor's Degree or global equivalent in related discipline.**OTHER:**Valid Driver’s License required.**TRAVEL / PHYSICAL DEMANDS**This position requires extensive travel within a specific geographic territory assignment. Typically, 25% - 50% travel.The posted range for this position is $55,000 - $85,000 which is the expected starting base salary range for an employee who is new to the role to fully proficient in the role.
