Full-Time job in Sport Management.
Attend all home and road games throughout the Summer season (approximately 45 games).
Responsibilities
Attend all home and road games throughout the Summer season (approximately 45 games).
Provide 6 innings of color commentary and 3 innings of play-by-play while working with the Director of Broadcasting to oversee the daily operation and production of the broadcast.
Set up and break down the broadcast equipment for each game.
Conduct pre-game and post-game shows to discuss team news, player statistics, and analysis. This may involve interviews with players or coaches.
Qualifications
Previous experience as a play-by-play announcer, preferably in baseball or other sports.
A deep understanding of baseball rules, strategies, and player dynamics.
Excellent verbal communication skills and the ability to convey excitement and enthusiasm on air.
Strong research abilities to prepare for each game thoroughly.
Familiarity with broadcasting equipment, software, and social media platforms.
Ability to work effectively with production crews, color commentators, and other team members.
