My client

is a family-run business that has successfully operated for 15+ years, selling highly sophisticated, integrated alarm systems to regulated industries (Gambling, Government, Banking, Healthcare, etc.).

Responsibilities

Coach-only role – overseeing a team of 8–10.

Overseeing specific verticals (Healthcare, Banking) and product lines (e.g., radio and fire systems).

Hiring, firing, mentoring, and reviewing the sales team.

Supporting client meetings, traveling (2–3 times per week), and assisting with closing deals or moving the needle forward with challenging clients.

Supporting the project management team on successful deals to ensure smooth integration and implementation.

Attending conferences and events for prospecting, showcasing, and demonstrating products.

Qualifications

Experience managing a team with varied capabilities and experience levels.

A firm but fair leadership style – personality and culture fit are very important. The VP of Sales is looking for someone who can create a positive, enabling environment where teams are motivated, sharing ideas, and thriving.

Experience selling alarm systems, voice control systems, access control systems, security products, and integrated hardware/software solutions into heavily regulated environments.

Comfortable with 1–2 days in the office and 2–3 days onsite with clients in AZ.

Compensation and Other Benefits

$100,000–$120,000 dependent on experience + annual bonuses + team commission (OTE $200,000–$300,000).
