
Position Summary
GL Homes, one of the largest homebuilders in South Florida, is seeking an online sales support representative to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing customers with an exceptional experience who contact us through online lead forms, live chats, or phone calls.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
Answers phones and live chats from potential homebuyers who solicit information through various sources and advertising campaigns.
Gather customer information such as name, address, phone, and email to input into the CRM system, and maintain records of all communications.
Explain details about all communities and answer customer questions.
Follow-up to online generated leads and enter leads into the CRM system.
Update CRM records based on customers’ communications as needed.
Conduct regular follow-up on a personal level based on lead rating and interest.
Qualify leads, schedule discovery visits to the communities, and complete handoff to the onsite sales team.
Make outbound calls to potential new homeowners and work with our marketing database to generate new leads for the sales team.
Education & Experience
High School degree required; college degree preferred
Sales (inside or outside sales) experience preferred
Prior experience working with the 'active adult 55+' segment is a plus
Skills & Abilities
Ability to pay attention to detail for accurate record keeping.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Good writing skills; strong command of email and live chat etiquette.
Must be reliable and responsible with high personal integrity.
Strong computer skills: Computer literate with strong computer knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel.
Ability to perform internet searches.
Must be able to type proficiently and accurately. Minimum of 40 WPM typing.
Must be able to handle multiple chat conversations, while possibly researching product information.
Ability to work independently and in a proactive working style.
Effective problem-solving skills and ability to multitask.
The desire to satisfy our customers promptly and further strengthen customer loyalty.
Ability to maintain a positive demeanor in a fast-paced environment is essential.
Other Requirements
This is a remote position (work from home). There may be occasional travel to visit communities, attend company meetings and participate in new community Grand Openings.
Estimated travel days are 1 every 60 days.
