The Sales Team is essential for building strong customer and partner relationships that enable the achievement of business targets, projecting a positive first impression of Actionstep and clearly articulating how our solutions enable customers to focus on what they do best: “be lawyers”. We continuously improve and develop sales methodology and capability across the entire sales function.
The Account Executive is a key driver of revenue growth and client success, responsible for acquiring, retaining and expanding the customer base and meeting revenue, login and qualification targets.
Customer Growth
Meet and exceed individual monthly and annual revenue and login targets.
Prospect and develop relationships in key customer groups and regions to generate sales opportunities.
Review and qualify inbound leads in line with Actionstep criteria across multiple channels.
Nurture and leverage business from new and existing customers, associations and network groups.
Manage customers through the sales process, ensuring adoption.
Deliver effective product demonstrations with clear communication.
Use sales tools and systems (HubSpot, LinkedIn Navigator) to record, track and qualify prospects.
Research and perform outbound activities for target customer groups.
Collaborate with Marketing, Product and regional teams to bring market insights and execute sales strategies.
Seek networking opportunities, attend industry events, webinars and user groups.
Advocate the Actionstep legal practice management platform within the region.
Support marketing campaigns and activities such as events and webinars.
Contribute to continuous improvement of the sales process and methodology.
Reporting & Administration
Maintain a regular and accurate sales pipeline with HubSpot.
Comply with all monthly, quarterly and ad‑hoc reporting requests.
Escalate financial discrepancies, risks and customer challenges to the Regional Vice President.
Relationship Management
Build and maintain strong internal and external working relationships.
Proactively contribute to customer, partner and internal meetings.
Professional Development & Continuous Improvement
Actively pursue career growth through professional development initiatives.

Requirements
5+ years of relevant sales experience.
Exposure and knowledge of the legal industry.
Experience presenting and leading product demonstrations.
Experience in a SaaS technology environment.
Achievement of or working towards a relevant sales methodology certification.
Desirable: Experience coaching and mentoring others in sales.
