Job Summary
Professional Security Alliance, Inc. dba PSA, The PSA Network, and Edge located in Westminster, Colorado, is the world’s largest systems integrator consortium. We are currently seeking a dynamic candidate for the role of Regional Sales Manager – West Region. This role will be responsible for supporting day-to-day sales for 7 U.S. states & 1 Canadian province. The territory currently generates approximately $45M annually through established member purchasing activity, even without dedicated sales coverage. Because PSA members are economically incentivized to transact through the network, this role participates in compensation tied to eligible product revenue landing within the territory, consistent with PSA’s compensation plan. The Regional Sales Manager is focused on deepening engagement, increasing wallet share, and accelerating growth within this existing revenue base. This position requires the ability to work cross‑functionally with other departments, travel monthly and a strong desire to work in a fast‑paced environment. This position will be based in the Western territory – preferably California. This hands‑on position is perfect for someone who wants to enhance this role by taking ownership and driving revenue.
We offer a competitive salary and comprehensive compensation package including base plus commission, medical, dental, vision, life insurance, 401K with match and safe‑harbor contribution, flex spending, tuition reimbursement, paid parental leave and PTO to qualifying employees.
Salary range $75,000 - $100,000 annually plus commission with OTE between $125-150K, no cap.
Essential Functions
Manage all functions of customer relations as it relates to sales for assigned region
Manage all facets of the relationships with new and existing customers to grow their business
Achieve monthly, quarterly and annual sales targets
Develop and execute annual sales plan to increase business with customers in the territory
Work with Inside Sales & Customer Success team to onboard new customers & increase sales
Work with vendors & solutions providers to grow their business with customers
Work with the team to promote all products & services offered to all customers in the territory
Travel to visit customers, industry events, trade shows, etc., as directed by VP of Sales
Own opportunity management across customers, including discovery, follow‑up & ongoing engagement
Meeting with inside sales account executive to discuss clients’ goals, progress and outcomes
Providing pricing / quotes for clients on an as‑needed basis
Reporting and recording all sales activities in a CRM system
Organize virtual demonstrations with vendors with an end goal of educating our customers
Collaborating with decision makers to identify opportunities and develop ideas that deliver sales results
Outbound phone calls to existing customer base and newly acquired customers
Become technically knowledgeable regarding supported vendors
While this role is hands‑on, success is driven by prioritizing high‑impact accounts, strategic vendor initiatives, and territory‑wide programs rather than transactional volume alone
Attending all company and sales department meetings as requested
Territory strategy ownership
Vendor alignment planning
Revenue expansion through programs (not just transactions)
Other duties as assigned. Employees are required to follow all job‑related directives and perform other tasks as requested by their supervisor.
Minimum Qualifications & Experience
5+ years demonstrated successful sales experience preferred
Wholesale distribution experience is a plus
Sales experience in video surveillance, access control, alarm & life safety industry a plus
Excellent phone skills, ability to travel and outstanding communication skills
Exceptional customer service skills and ability to overcome objections
Competitive to achieve results
Proven track record in creating new business relationships
Proficient in MS Office, NetSuite CRM and online collaboration & training platforms
Excellent time management skills
Ability to prioritize tasks and self‑manage daily workload.
Travel
Requires travel one (1) week per month including events / meetings several times per year.
