
Gemco Building Systems, LLC is growing and seeking
motivated Sales Support team members
to assist our sales locations across the
Shreveport–Bossier area . This role is ideal for individuals looking to enter sales, gain hands‑on experience, and advance into a
Sales Location Manager position
based on performance.
Full‑Time & Part‑Time Available
Pay & Compensation Structure $16–$20 per hour (W‑2 employee)
paid by Gemco Building Systems, LLC
Hourly rate based on experience
Commission opportunities available
Commission earned on sales will be
paid directly by the Location Manager
Commission portion is paid as
1099 contractor income
after successful completion of the job

Responsibilities Work
under the supervision of the Location Manager(s)
at assigned sales locations
Cover sales lots during
scheduled time away
for Location Managers
Act in the
best interest of the Location Manager and Gemco
to close sales efficiently
Identify and engage potential customers through walk‑ins, outreach, and referrals
Educate customers on product features, upgrades, and financing options
Assist with closing sales while delivering excellent customer service
Use
NetSuite daily
for all CRM‑related activities, including:
Documenting calls, texts, and emails
Scheduling and tracking follow‑up tasks
Keeping customer records accurate and up to date
Processing sales orders in a timely manner
Ensuring all sales paperwork and contracts are properly completed and submitted
Assist with operational duties including:
Making daily bank deposits
Reconciling deposits with the Customer Service Manager
Ensuring sales lots are staffed during all advertised business hours, including Saturdays
Attend weekly sales meetings prior to lot opening at 9:00 AM
Remaining meetings via Google Teams
Assist with marketing efforts by promoting sales locations on social media
Attend trade shows, fairs, and community events as needed
Scheduling & Travel Requirements Must be able to
travel between all Gemco sales locations
in the Shreveport–Bossier area
A
weekly schedule will be provided every Friday
for the following work week
Schedule will specify
which location to report to each day
Requirements Sales experience preferred but not required
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Self‑motivated, dependable, and goal‑oriented
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
Willingness to learn CRM systems and sales processes
Reliable transportation required
This position offers a clear path for advancement.
Sales Support team members who demonstrate strong sales performance, reliability, and leadership may be promoted to Sales Location Manager .
Education Level : High School, Associate Degree
Experience Level : Entry Level, Mid to Senior Level
