Junior Transactional Real Estate Paralegal

The ideal candidate is organized, proactive, eager to learn, and able to manage multiple tasks while meeting deadlines.
Qualifications
Paralegal certificate/degree preferred, or
1–2 years of experience
in a real estate law firm (experience mandatory)
Strong interest in
NYC residential real estate transactions
including co-ops, condos, townhouses, and single-family homes
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
Strong written and verbal communication skillsAbility to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team
Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel)
Must be willing to obtain a
Notary Public license
(preferred if already licensed)
Key Responsibilities
Support attorneys throughout all phases of
residential real estate transactions
Assist with preparing and organizing transaction files and closing checklists
Draft routine correspondence and basic real estate documents under supervision
Coordinate with clients, lenders, brokers, title companies, and managing agents
Request and organize title reports, payoff letters, and closing documents
Help prepare closing packages and ensure all documentation is complete and accurate
Assist with scheduling closings and maintaining deadlines
Handle post-closing tasks, including assembling closing binders and recording documents
