
This role provides day-to-day support to Duffy Kruspodin’s sales and marketing efforts, with a focus on helping the firm attract and retain clients. The Sales and Marketing Support Specialist helps manage incoming leads, coordinate client proposals and outreach, maintain accurate sales data, and ensure opportunities move forward smoothly.

This role works closely with the Chief Growth and Marketing Officer and a collaborative marketing team, offering strong visibility and meaningful hands‑on experience early in your career.

Key Responsibilities
Manage new sales leads, assign leads to appropriate client owners, and support timely follow‑up across the team
Respond to inquiries from prospective clients, schedule meetings and sales appointments, and help ensure a positive first experience with the firm
Assist with qualifying leads and maintaining momentum through the early stages of the sales process
Support the preparation and coordination of client proposals, estimates, and sales materials
Maintain accurate lead, contact, account, and opportunity records within the firm’s CRM and related systems
Track sales and marketing activity, compile performance metrics, and prepare reports for internal meetings
Support list development, prospect research, and outreach efforts using business intelligence platforms
Use AI tools and automation to streamline repetitive tasks, improve reporting, and enhance lead management workflows
Collaborate with marketing and business development team members to support growth initiatives and special projects
Attend occasional events or networking opportunities to help build relationships and generate new leads, as needed
Knowledge and Skills Requirements
Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, or a related field.
1-2 years’ related experience (including internships)
Strong verbal and written communication skills, with a professional and service‑minded approach
Highly organized with strong attention to detail and follow‑through
Ability to manage multiple priorities and stay flexible in a fast‑paced environment
Comfortable working with data, reporting, and basic analytics to track sales and marketing activity
Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Word, Outlook), and confidence learning new platforms quickly
Familiarity with CRM systems, sales tools, or marketing automation platforms is a plus (training provided)
Interest in using AI tools and automation to improve efficiency, streamline processes, and support business growth
Strong interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate across teams
Ability to handle client and prospect information with professionalism and discretion in a public accounting and advisory environment
Curious, proactive mindset with a desire to learn and grow in sales, marketing, and business development
Experience experimenting with tools such as ChatGPT, Microsoft Copilot, or other AI platforms to support research, writing, and workflow improvements
