This role is responsible for driving awareness, engagement, and demand across all outbound channels, including demand generation, regional marketing, campaigns and events, content strategy, and social media.This is a **people leadership role** that manages a team of outbound and corporate marketing professionals and serves as the central orchestrator of how Altera activates its brand and messaging in the market. The Director of Outbound Marketing ensures that corporate marketing strategies translate into high-impact, measurable programs executed consistently across regions and channels.**Key Responsibilities****Outbound Marketing Strategy & Leadership*** Define and lead Altera’s **global outbound marketing strategy**, ensuring alignment across demand generation, campaigns, regions, content, events, and social media.* Build, lead, and develop a **high-performing outbound marketing team**, providing clear direction, coaching, and performance management.* Establish scalable frameworks, processes, and best practices to enable consistent execution across global and regional teams.* Act as the primary owner of outbound marketing orchestration across corporate and regional marketing functions.**Demand Generation & Growth*** Own global **demand generation strategy and execution**, spanning digital campaigns, integrated programs, account-based initiatives, and lifecycle marketing.* Partner closely with sales, operations, and analytics teams to align on pipeline goals, attribution models, and performance measurement.* Drive continuous optimization of outbound programs using data, insights, and experimentation to improve conversion, efficiency, and ROI.**Campaigns, Events & Regional Activation*** Oversee the development and execution of **global marketing campaigns**, flagship events, and regional marketing programs.* Ensure campaigns are executed consistently across regions while enabling localization to meet market needs.* Provide leadership and guidance to regional marketing teams to ensure strong alignment with corporate campaigns and outbound priorities.**Content, Digital & Social Strategy*** Own **outbound content strategy**, ensuring alignment across campaigns, digital channels, events, and social platforms.* Guide the development of content that clearly communicates Altera’s corporate value, innovation leadership, and customer impact.* Oversee social media strategy and execution, ensuring a consistent brand voice, strong engagement, and alignment with outbound objectives.**Measurement, Insights & Operations*** Define, track, and report on KPIs across all outbound channels, including demand performance, engagement, pipeline influence, and brand impact.* Establish clear dashboards and reporting mechanisms to provide visibility into performance and outcomes.* Continuously improve outbound marketing operations, tools, and workflows to increase speed, quality, and scalability.**Salary Range**The pay range below is for Bay Area California only.
