Key Job Responsibilities

Generate net-new advertising revenue through strategic selling to public sector entities, agencies, non-profits, and trade groups.

Be a true hunter, hungry to uncover opportunity and connect it with a value-adding solution.

Proactively build and maintain relationships with key decision-makers.

Create and deliver custom sales presentations and media plans that align Amazon's advertising solutions with advertiser campaign objectives.

Develop consultative joint business plans. Thoughtfully respond to RFPs with effective solutions and tailored recommendations.

Own customer conversations from agenda and attendees to final presentation.

Earn customer trust through deep industry, landscape and Amazon Ad knowledge.

Generate and maintain a robust pipeline of opportunities.

Leverage existing industry relationships to identify new business and revenue opportunities for Amazon Ads.

Anticipate and identify advertising customer needs. Align with internal stakeholders to overcome roadblocks and deliver bar-raising solutions.

Provide superior customer service while maintaining compliance with advertising policies.

Work cross-functionally with internal teams to ensure successful campaign set up, optimization, reporting and execution.

Basic Qualifications

Experience in the public sector or advocacy landscape in advertising, sales, media buying, marketing or communications.

Strong understanding of advertising tactics, regulations and compliance requirements.

Demonstrated ability to perform in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.

Experience with sales CRM tools (Salesforce or similar).

Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.

Preferred Qualifications

3+ years of public sector, government or advocacy ad sales experience.

5+ years of digital ad sales experience as an individual contributor.

Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills.

Experience managing complex sales cycles with multiple stakeholders.

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments, restricted stock units (RSUs), and sales incentives. Final compensation will be determined based on experience, qualifications, and location.
